Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew has shared a huge, fascinating collection of behind the scenes pictures from the CLASSIC MOVIES
English actor Mayhew, who played hairy Wookiee, Chewbacca in the Star Wars movies, posted more than 90 on-set photos.
The collection includes images of Mayhew fooling around between takes with co-stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamil.
There's also some rare pictures of legendary actor Alec Guinness talking to director George Lucas in Tunisia, the location used for desert planet Tattooine in the first Star Wars film.
Mayhew posted plenty of shots showing how they handled the groundbreaking special effects in the 70s and 80s - including the way they filmed the films' iconic opening title crawl.
A new trilogy of Star Wars movies is in pre-production, with Episode VII due for release on December 18th, 2015.
